One new iridoid glycoside, lagotisoside F (1), was isolated from Lagotis alutacea, along with three known analogs, lagotisoside D (2), 6-O-α-l-(4′′-O-(E)-cinnamoyl) rhamnopyranosyl-catapol (3) and globularin (4). Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic analysis and by comparison with data reported in the literature. Compounds 14 were evaluated for cytotoxic activity against HL-60, MCF-7, A549, SW480, and SMMC-7721 cells and exhibited no appreciable activity with IC50 values above 40 μm.
Key words: Logatis alutacea, Iridoid Glycosides, Lagotisoside F
