The synthesis and characterization including the crystal structure of the dinuclear palladium(II) complex [(κ-S,S′)-{N(SPPh2)2}Pd(μ-{κ2-S′′,S′′′})-{N(SPPh2)2}PdCl2] (1) are reported. Compound 1 was obtained from the reaction of [PdCl2(COD)] (COD = 1,5-cyclooctadiene) and HN(SPPh2)2 in a 1:1 molar ratio in CH2Cl2. The {N(SPPh2)2} ligands act both as bridging and/or terminally chelating units.
Key words: Bimetallic Complex, Palladium, PNP Ligand, S Donor Ligand
