Tawfik; E-mail: a.tawfik@eng.mti.edu.egBy means of the new Berkeley-Betatron, it was possible to produce mesons through the bombardment of light nuclei (especially carbon C) with α-particles at 380MeV. In the present work, a simple method is introduced to give predictions for the particle yield expected from this collision.
